NCAA Game Summary - South Alabama At Ole Miss

Oxford, MS -- (Sports Network) - David Huertas scored 27 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor, including seven three-pointers, to lead the Ole Miss Rebels to an 89-71 win over the South Alabama Jaguars in a non-league matchup at Tad Smith Coliseum. Zach Graham also added a career-high 16 points for the Rebels (2-0), while Chris Warren tallied 15 points and six assists in the win. Brandon Davis paced the Jaguars (1-1), scoring a team-high 19 points. DeAndrae Ross also chipped in with 12 points, while LaShun Watson checked in with 11 points and nine rebounds. Ole Miss jumped out to an early lead, shooting 14-of-37 from the field, to take a 46-27 lead at the break. The Rebels took control in the second stanza shooting 46.7 percent from the field, and 10-of-10 from the foul-line, en route to an 18-point victory. Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as Ole Miss outscored South Alabama 33-9 from beyond the arc.
