Charleston, SC -- (Sports Network) - Noah Dahlman notched 16 points and five rebounds to lead Wofford to a 58-49 win over Western Carolina in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament.

Corey Godzinski contributed 13 points while Drew Gibson added eight points and eight assists for the Terriers (16-15), who will play top-seeded Davidson in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Blake Gallagher had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Catamounts (10-21), who shot just 36.5 percent from the floor in the game.

On the strength of 45.5 percent shooting in the first half, Wofford took a 26-21 lead into the locker room and held off the Catamounts in the second half to move on.
