Florida's Harvin Injured Against Seminoles

POSTED: 10:25 pm EST November 29, 2008

(Sports Network) - Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin sprained his right ankle in the second quarter of Saturday's 45-15 win over No. 23 Florida State.

Harvin was tackled from behind and hit from the front, then twisted to the ground with 6:44 left in the half. Harvin remained on the field before limping off with the help of trainers, keeping the weight off his right foot. He was attended to on the sideline, and didn't return, having run for 13 yards on six carries.

Harvin has been key to the second-ranked Gators' success this season, leading the team with 35 catches for a team-high 595 yards and seven scores entering Saturday's game. He had also accumulated 525 rushing yards and eight TDs on the ground.
