DeKalb Water Advisory Lifted

DECATUR, Ga. -- The boil water advisory for DeKalb County was lifted Thursday afternoon.The advisory was issued Tuesday evening after severe storms caused a power outage at the Scott Chandler Water Plant. The outage resulted in a loss of water pressure.The order affected residents in Avondale, Chamblee, Decatur and Doraville.Residents were told to boil the water for at least three minutes before drinking, bathing, cooking or brushing teeth.
