Jailer Fired In June During Investigation

SPRINGFIELD, Ga. -- Investigators have arrested a former Effingham County jailer they say had sex with an inmate at the jail.Jessica Edenfield, of Guyton, Ga., was charged with one count of sexual assault against a person in custody. She was fired in June during the investigation.
Edenfield, 29, was booked into the Effingham County jail.
