LAKE CITY, Ga. -- Lowndes County authorities are looking for a man who fatally shot a convenience store clerk during a robbery.

Investigators said a man walked into Triangle Foods on Highway 41 in Lake Park late Wednesday afternoon and fired at least four shots at the clerk.

After the shooting, the man took money from the register and left. He came back a few seconds later, went around the counter and stepped over the clerk to take cigarettes.

A customer who walked in about 15 minutes later called 911. The clerk died at South Georgia Medical Center.

Investigators said the killing was captured on store surveillance cameras and the shooter wasn't wearing a mask.

The clerk's name was not immediately released because his family hadn't been notified.
