ALBANY, Ga. -- Authorities said an Albany boy drowned in a weekend swimming incident and his would-be rescuer is missing.Police said the body of Joshua Perry, 11, was recovered from the Flint River where he had gone swimming with his 10-year-old brother on Sunday afternoon.Phyllis Banks-Whitley, a police media manager, said four people pulled the younger sibling from the river.But police said the incident took another tragic turn when a 23-year-old man attempted to rescue Perry also went under and never resurfaced.
Their names were withheld.
