UPDATED: 4:11 pm EST December 3, 2007

Two of the Atlanta police officers involved in the shooting of 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston have turned themselves in to federal authorities.

Jason Smith and Gregg Junnier had until noon to report to the U.S. Marshal's office.

The pair had worked out plea deals with the authorities.

The former officers admitted that they lied to get a "No Knock" search warrant to raid Johnston's home.

Smith and Junnier said they mistakenly believe there were drugs inside the home and that when they realized they were wrong, the planted drugs in the house.

Smith was sentenced to 12 years in prison and Junnier will serve 10 years.
