Clarke Central Grad Shot To Death At UNCUNC To Honor Eve Carson

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Students and faculty at the University of North Carolina will gather Tuesday to remember slain student body president Eve Carson.The service to celebrate Carson's life will begin at 4 p.m. in the Dean E. Smith Center, which seats nearly 22,000. Carson, 22, was from Athens, Ga.Two Durham, N.C. men have been charged with murder in the Carson's death. Her body was found March 5 in the middle of a residential street in Chapel Hill. She had been shot several times.
Police have charged Laurence Lovette, 17, and Demario Atwater, 21, in Carson's death.
