- To enter, watch CBS 46 10:00 pm programs weeknights from April 24, 2008, through May 21, 2008 to get the secret number. Then at approximately 11:00 pm each night of the sweepstakes, video and audio announcements will prompt viewers to call the toll free number (1-866-946-1041) to provide the secret number. If the 46th caller correctly provides the correct secret number, the caller is a winner, once eligibility is confirmed. Sweepstakes begins April 24, 2007 and ends May 21, 2007. One prize per person and per household.
- Entrants must be legal residents of Georgia, and 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of CBS 46, Meredith Corporation, their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible. Winners of a prize from CBS 46 within the past thirty (30) days from the beginning date of this sweepstakes are not eligible.
- All winner selections are under the supervision of CBS 46. All decisions of CBS 46 regarding winner selections and this sweepstakes are final. Winners will be notified the following morning of winning and prize needs to be picked up no later than 5 business days after winning. CBS 46 is not responsible for telephone or other technical or mechanical failure or problems of any kind.
- Each nightly winner will receive a 42” CLASS LCD HDTV, retail value $1399.95. If the 46th caller on any night does not provide the correct secret number, a prize will not be awarded. CBS46 reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize cannot be awarded as described. CBS46 will determine all elements of prizing in its sole discretion. Prize may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of CBS46. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee express or implied. CBS46 disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third party product or service accepted by the winners. All decisions of CBS46 regarding winner selection and this sweepstakes are final.
- Odds of winning depend on the number and timing of eligible calls received.
- Entry constitutes permission for CBS 46 to use winner’s name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of CBS 46 and Meredith Corporation without compensation unless prohibited by law. Winner, and where applicable, travel companion, will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity unless prohibited by law, within five (5) days of notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim prize, fails to comply with all rules, is unable to travel on dates of prize or attend event on prize date or fails to respond to the winner notification, the selected winner is disqualified and the prize is forfeited. If forfeited, another winner will be selected from among the eligible entries by random drawing. Subject to all U.S. federal, Georgia state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
- CBS 46 reserves the right to cancel or delay sweepstakes in the event of telephone or other technical or mechanical failure or problems of any kind or because of non-authorized human intervention.
- By participating and winning a prize, winners release CBS 46, Meredith Corporation and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
