ATLANTA -- A Grady Hospital social worker accused of stealing a dead woman’s wedding ring is accused of stealing from a Paulding County couple.Atlanta Police spokesman Officer James Polite said Tuesday that Tacuma Jawara is accused of taking the wedding ring and a necklace from Paul Goyette. Goyette and his wife Melissa said on Tuesday that he was airlifted to Grady following a crash on April 21."No one kept records," Paul Goyette said. "They didn't expect me to make it.""They gave me a bag, which had his belt and his Zyrtec allergy medicine," said his wife Melissa. The Goyettes are from Dallas, Ga.
Polite said Jawara later sold the jewelry at a pawn shop. My husband woke me up and I said 'That's him,'" Goyette said. Armstrong's jewelry was valued at $5,000 and Goyette's at $600.
