Eldrin Bell Hurts Hand While Firing Gun

JONESBORO, Ga. -- Clayton County Commission Chairman Eldrin Bell is recovering after accidentally after injuring his hand while firing a gun.Investigators said Bell was at an event over the weekend at the home of Jack Galardi, who owns a Clayton County strip club.Bell was shooting a .50-caliber Smith and Wesson revolver.
After firing three rounds, Bell decided to change his shooting position. As he moved, his hand got too close to the side of the cylinder and he shot himself, according to investigators. Bell received four stitches.
