Fake Dentist Practiced Inside Johns Creek Home, Police Say

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- The patients of a woman who police say operated a dentist's office out of her home are being urged to get tested.Johns Creek police said that Claudinette Varon-Castro operated the makeshift dental office out of her home."It did not look like a business operation from the outside," said neighbor Sharon Ferrar.Varon-Castro, a native of Colombia, faces multiple charges including practicing dentistry without a license. Police also seized hundreds of prescription pills.
Legitimate dentists are urging varon-Castro's patients are being urged to get tested by doctors."They probably want to go to a medical doctor now and be tested for hepatitis, AIDS," said dentist Alan Parnes.Johns Creek is located in the northeast corner of Fulton County.
