SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- When Former Police Chief Gene Wilson found out that Sandy Springs no longer wanted him to be it's police chief, he ended up in the hospital with high blood pressure and chest pains.

The lengthy report was approximately 1,000 pages long and raised concerns among the citizens of Sandy Springs.

The allegations against Wilson involve a training session and video that shows officers firing off machine guns and acting unprofessionally at a private home in Oconee County.

The training session was funded by the taxpayers' money, our source said.

As soon as Wilson found out all the details of the training, he began an investigation.

But Wilson insisted on his integrity and honesty in this matter.

Wilson said, “I’ve written myself up. I’ve written myself tickets. All I ever wanted to do was be a good policeman.”

Wilson said he knew nothing about the training session and would not comment further.
