Mequon, WI -- (Sports Network) - St. Louis Rams guard Mark Setterstrom injured his left knee in a preseason game against the San Diego Chargers on Saturday and will miss the rest of the season with a fractured patella.Setterstrom, a seventh-round pick of the Rams in 2006, was carted off the field in the second half after sustaining the injury and the 24-year-old will have season-ending surgery sometime later this week. The setback comes almost a year after Setterstrom, who started the 2007 campaign as the club's starting left guard, tore his left ACL which sidelined him for the final 13 games of last season. The Rams also found out Sunday they will be without the services of offensive tackle Brandon Gorin, who sustained a season-ending shoulder injury in the preseason opener against Tennessee on August 9. Gorin was a seventh-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2001. "Brandon Gorin's shoulder injury is a little more severe than originally diagnosed," Rams head coach Scott Linehan said. "It was not misdiagnosis. They were continuing to study the MRI and those things and he has a pretty significant shoulder injury. It is real similar to what [tackle] Orlando [Pace] had so it is an injury that will force him out for the year."
