POSTED: 2:34 pm EDT October 8, 2008

(Sports Network) - New England Revolution goalkeeper Doug Warren has been placed on the season-ending injury list after suffering a right elbow injury.

Warren, 27, will miss the remainder of the 2008 season while he rehabilitates his hyperextended right elbow, which he suffered during training on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

He made three MLS appearances in goal in 2008, posting a 1-0-1 record with a 2.09 goals against average. He made his first league appearance since 2005 when he entered the Revs' game at San Jose on Aug. 16, and started the team's next two league matches.

In all competitions this season, Warren made seven appearances, going 2-2-2 with a 1.64 goals against average in MLS, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions League matches.
