The Atlanta Falcons were dealing with yet another off-the-field problem with one of their players Monday night.

CBS46 has learned that Falcons defensive back Jimmy Williams was cited just outside of Richmond, Va., on June 2 on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.

Williams disputed the report and said he is innocent.

Williams was scheduled to make a court appearance last week. His case in Goochland County, Va., has been continued to December 3.

Williams' Arizona-based agent Ethan Lock said he was aware of the citation.

Falcons president Rich McKay and head coach Bob Petrino have a copy of the police report and were discussing the matter late Monday.
