CBS 46 is seeking an experienced sales marketing manager. The ideal candidate will work with the General Sales Manager to support the Account Executives and National Sales Manager to create and implement money generating ideas. This position supports and manages the Sales Departments’ promotions and integrated marketing initiatives, and executes the coordination of promotional components necessary to achieve the success of the Sales Department. The position also manages and coordinates the execution of on-site activities at station sanctioned events and on-line promotions for the sales activity of the Internet site.

Experience: Minimum 3 years Marketing/Sales experience, preferably in broadcasting or radio.

Skills and Abilities: Applicant must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be detail-oriented. This position requires communication with major clients, vendors, corporate headquarters and department heads. Must be focused and possess excellent presentation skills. Able to manage projects from start to finish. Superior computer skills are required in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop. Good copywriter and editing skills are also required. Must be disciplined and self motivated. Must be able to prioritize and make frequent changes of tasks without loss of efficiency and composure.

Education: Four year degree, preferably in Marketing, Media Communications or Journalism. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
