It's amazing video you have to see: a deer made a surprise visit to some Falcons fans Sunday at the Taco Mac on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta. About 100 customers were dining in the restaurant at the time of the incident.
The 200 pound deer ran right through the plated glass near an entrance to the restaurant, as seen on the surveillance video.
"It felt like somebody got thrown through the window, nobody knew it was a deer," said Taco Mac General Manager Brian Stanley.
The deer left the restaurant almost as quickly as it entered - this time through a door onto the patio.
"How long was the deer in the restaurant?" asked CBS Atlanta reporter Adam Murphy.
"It couldn't have been more than 15 to 30 seconds. It was a pretty quick incident, luckily for us, luckily," said Stanley.
Restaurant staff said the deer didn't appear to be injured, as it was seen running away through the parking lot.
"In this business I've seen some pretty wild stuff, but never a grown deer jumping through a window," said Stanley.
