An angry New Orleans Saints fan opened fire in the parking lot of a Duluth restaurant Saturday evening shortly after his team lost the football game.

Police said Donald Ray Ayro, 31, became upset with two San Francisco 49er fans while watching the game at the Applebee's on Pleasant Hill Road.

Christopher Middleton was shot in the stomach and transported to the hospital in critical condition. His friend Corey Adams suffered a minor wound to the head and was treated on the scene and released.

Adams told CBS Atlanta Ayro became upset while watching the game and made a comment he would be back for them and left the restaurant.

When the men were leaving Ayro met them in the parking lot and began shooting. He fled the scene but Gwinnett police caught up with him a short time later.

Ayro, 31, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.  He is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
