Charges filed against Chardon shooting suspect TJ Lane
CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -
Charges have been filed against TJ Lane, the suspected gunman in the Chardon High School shootings.
The charges were announced at 4pm press conference Thursday.
Chardon Police Lt. Tim McKenna also announced there will law enforcement at the high school from this point on for the duration of the school year.
The Geauga County Prosecutor announced that at 3:40 pm Thursday, the first charges were handed down in juvenile court against TJ Lane. Lane has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault for the student snipped in the ear.
TJ Lane will be in court on March 6th, 2012, he accused of fatally shooting three students at Chardon High School and wounding three others.

A Griffin police officer was shot and killed Saturday morning. It happened at about 2:30 a.m. at a Waffle House. The officer is identified as 43-year-old Kevin Jordan. He had been with Griffin Police for four years.More >
