Woman killed in motorcycle crash, driver injured

DAWSON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Georgia State Patrol confirms that a woman was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle wreck.

The crash happened at 12:45 p.m. on Georgia 400 at Henry Grady in Dawson County between a Chevrolet Tahoe and a Harley motorcycle.

Krista M. Stein, 47, was a passenger on the motorcycle driven by Daniel Stein, 53. Krista Stein died in the crash and Daniel was airlifted to Grady with serious injuries according to troopers. Both were from Cumming.

The driver of the SUV, Ronnie Hugh Anglin, appeared not to be injured. The 61-year-old is from Flowery Branch. He was crossing the northbound lanes of GA 400 from Henry Grady when it collided with the Stein's motorcycle.

Shirley Anglin, 60, a passenger in the Tahoe had minor injuries. She was not taken to the hospital according to GSP.

The crash is under investigation. Charges are pending according to GSP.
