CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A four-hour long stand-off in Clayton County ended peacefully with no injuries Thursday morning.

"I saw a whole lot of cop cars," described Bill Graham, a neighbor.

Clayton County police said Ade Jarod Ison, 30, of Hampton, believed to be armed, refused to come out of a home on Ray Street. A woman and a little girl, estimated to be around five years old, were also inside the home, but police did not know if they were hostages or stayed willingly.

"It appeared he lived at that location…we don't know the relationship of the people on the inside," said Charlene Watson-Frasier, an officer with the Clayton County Police Department.

Watson said the ordeal started Wednesday night when officers arrived at a different, undisclosed, location to investigate Ison on several charges. They included aggravated assault, cruelty to children, and making terroristic threats.

Police said that investigation then took them to the home on Ray Street where Ison refused to come out.

Police believed he was armed, but did not say if weapons were ever found.

The SWAT team arrived, and after four hours, Ison surrendered.

He was booked into the Clayton County Jail.
