Kroger to give away $96,000 in classroom supplies

Kroger's Atlanta Division will be giving away classroom supplies valued at more than $96,000 as part of the grocer's 2012-2013 'Earning Plus Learning' program.

On Thursday, educators with a valid Georgia teacher ID can go to the giveaway location to receive up to $40 in free school supplies. 

Classroom supplies include copy paper, construction paper, markers and other supplies.

Teachers will receive items on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

The event will take place at the North Atlanta Trade Center at 1700 Jeurgens Ct. in Norcross from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
