Candy Corn Oreo: The all-American cookie gets a Halloween makeover
ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA/AP) -
Just in time for Halloween, Nabisco, a division of Kraft Foods, has come out with a limited-edition, Candy Corn Oreo cookie.
Oreo is one of Kraft's biggest global snack brands. The Northfield, Ill., company adapts the black-and-white cookie for different markets - such as fruity flavors in China - and produces limited-edition versions.
Odd flavors of the cookie are nothing new.
Kraft makes a Blueberry Ice Cream Oreo for Indonesia and a Green Tea Oreo for China.
The new Candy Corn Oreo just hit store shelves this week and will sell through Oct. 31. The cookies will be available exclusively at Target Corp. stores and retail for $3.59 for a package.
