Reward offered in Duluth homicide case

Posted: Updated:

Hertz rental car is offering a reward in a homicide that occurred at their store at 3492 Satellite Blvd.

According to reports, on Sept. 21, between 5 and 5:30 p.m., Monique Marlow, an employee of Hertz rental, was cleaning a car in the back of the business when she was approached by a young man wearing a light blue shirt.

The man shot Marlow once and immediately left the area, according to police.

Hertz has put up a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder.

Based on the time of day and location, investigators believe that someone in the area of the bus depot most likely saw the incident.

Anyone with information on this case should contact homicide unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
