Marietta detectives arrested a 41-year-old on 67 felony counts of theft by conversion and 30 misdemeanor counts of theft by deception.

An investigation revealed that Elbert Adams had sold over 100 metal box containers typically used for construction debris to Blaze Recycling at 317 Marble Mill Rd. in Marietta over an 18 month period of time.

The containers were stolen from Waste Pro in Doraville and other unknown victims.

From the original $325,000 worth of containers stolen, detectives have recovered 30 containers valued at $90,000.

Marietta police detectives are working to identify the owners of the other recovered stolen containers.

Adams is currently being held on $250,000 bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective R. Henson at 770-794-5345.
