Georgia State University is investigating why hundreds of copies of its student newspaper have disappeared.
Twice over the last eight months, hundreds of copies of The Signal have been stolen.
The latest incident happened Halloween afternoon, when around 500 copies were stolen of their election preview edition.
"You're only allotted one newspaper, everything after that is a dollar, and you have to come to the office to get one," said Andres Cruz-Wellmann, Associate News Editor. "We can't have someone out there patrolling the stands making sure only one person gets it. It becomes almost an honor system."
He said there is photographic evidence showing several people walking out of a campus building holding hundreds of papers.
Cruz-Wellmann said the newspaper staff have filed a police report.
