Tennessee's Tyler Bray is playing as well as any quarterback in the country.
In the two games since Volunteers coach Derek Dooley warned him to take better care of the ball or risk getting benched, Bray has accumulated 898 passing yards with nine touchdowns and only one interception.
Bray threw for a school-record 530 yards and matched a career high with five touchdown passes Saturday in a 55-48 victory over Troy that ended the Volunteers' four-game losing streak.
After throwing eight interceptions and six touchdowns through Tennessee's first four Southeastern Conference games, Bray is displaying the form that caused him to be regarded as a potential first-round draft pick before the season.
