Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless will serve meals on Thanksgiving, and they're getting some help from Radio One Atlanta.
WHTA, Hot 107.9, WPZE Praise 102.5-102.9 and Majic 107.5/ 97.5 aired live from the Kroger at 3425 Cascade Rd. on Monday. Each station encouraged its listeners to offer food and monetary donations.
Radio One Operations Manager Hurricane Dave said, "We feel Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless does a great job for the community. All year, they provide assistance to those in need and given the economy, we understand their need, so we are coming to their assistance."
Since its founding in 1971, Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless has distributed more than 3 billion in food, clothing, toiletries, furniture and cleaning supplies to more than 16 Georgia counties.
