Nationwide Insurance company hacked

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Insurance giant Nationwide says its computer network has been hacked, leaving almost 30,000 policyholders in Georgia open to possible identity theft.

The company says it sent letters out last week Friday letting customers know about the breach.

They also offered them free identity theft protection and credit monitoring for at least one year.

If you are a Nationwide customer concerned about your information, call the company at 1-800-760-1125.
