Rome police search children's dentistry office after receiving complaints
ROME, GA (CBS46) -
Police executed a search warrant on a dentist's office in Rome on Thursday morning after receiving numerous complaints about the business.
The search warrant was carried out at Children's Dentistry of Rome on Redmond Road.
The complaints included concerns over improper use of restraints and patients receiving unneeded dental work, according to Lt. Gary Clayton with the Rome Police Department.
While the purpose of the search warrant was to allow investigators access to records kept by the business that Clayton said were relevant to a criminal investigation, no criminal charges were filed following the search.
Police did not release any details on the criminal investigation.
