Tripp Halstead to have piece of skull replaced

Posted: Updated:

Doctors at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital will replace the piece of 2-year-old Tripp Halstead's skull they removed. This is the latest update from his parents, posted on Facebook.

That procedure will take place on Dec. 10. On that same day, doctors will put in a feeding tube so he only has to go under anesthesia once.

A tree limb fell on the toddler at a Winder day care nearly a month ago causing a critical brain injury.
