Atlanta's City Hall will be illuminated in red throughout the month of December in observance of World AIDS Day.
Mayor Kasim Reed partnered with RED, an international HIV/AIDS awareness and activism group, to shine red lights on City Hall in observance of World AIDS Day, which is Dec. 1.
Officials say this marks the third consecutive year Atlanta has joined more than a dozen cities worldwide in illuminating landmarks to raise awareness of the virus.
AID Atlanta will be at City Hall Friday offering free and confidential HIV tests between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The building is located on Trinity Avenue between Central Avenue and Washington Street.
