FAYETTEVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

Police are searching for two men who robbed the Fayetteville Walmart store on Thursday.

Around 11:13 p.m., two men in their early 20s entered the store while a third person stayed in the car.

Employees said the men waited inside the store till they started removing cash from the registers.

The suspects pulled out a revolver and demanded the money, according to reports.

The men took a shopping cart filled with the cash box and fled the store.

Officers said the men put the shopping cart into the back of a tan Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The truck was reported stolen from Henry County, and detectives found it two hours later at an apartment complex in Clayton County.

Both men pulled gray bandanas over their faces after they had entered the store and both were wearing gloves.

Anyone with information about this case is strongly encouraged to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 770-461-4441.
