DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

If it's not the worst, it's got to be one of the top five worst railroad crossings that Pothole Patrol has covered.

There is nothing secure at the Laredo Drive railroad crossing in Avondale Estates.

That's because the wood support beams move freely along with the tracks.

Laredo Drive is a heavily traveled cut-through route between Avondale Estates and Decatur.

CSX Railroad, which owns the tracks, prides itself on safety. It has 21,000 miles of tracks in 23 states.

But in Pothole Patrol's semi-unprofessional opinion, the Laredo Drive crossing is a hazard and at minimum, and a nuisance that needs to be addressed.
