Fellow officer remember fallen Clayton county police officer Sean Callahan, the 24-year-old rookie police officer who lost his life in the line of duty Tuesday.
Clayton County police say Callahan was shot in the head during the pursuit of a suspect near a Motel 6 in Stockbridge. The suspect, 41 year-old Tremaine Lebis, also died of a gunshot wound during the incident.
Lebis' wife, Lisa, was arrested and charged with obstruction and simple battery.
Callahan, a native of Cobb County, had been with the department only four months before losing his life on the job. His sister, Candice, said her brother was "ecstatic" when he got the call last summer to serve with the Clayton County police force.
Callahan's visitation is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. His funeral is Friday, from 11 a.m. to noon, at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta.
