COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Officials in Smyrna are investigating a fatal crash that happened along Powder Springs Road at Trellis Oaks Drive on Monday.

Police said a gold 1999 Toyota Camry was headed southbound on Smyrna Powder Springs Road when a maroon 1994 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound.

The 1994 Toyota Camry veered to the left and crossed over the double yellow line before colliding with the gold Toyota Camry, according to reports.

The driver of the gold Camry, Andeiko Tadic, 23, and a 16-year-old passenger were treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.

Passengers Luca Kosic, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Cobb County medical examiner's office.

The driver of the 1994 Toyota Camry, Huy Q. Tran, 39, was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Investigators believe extreme dense fog was a contributing factor in the crash.

No charges have been made at this time as this collision remains under investigation.
