Missing Habersham County boy found safe in Gwinnett County

HABERSHAM COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A 5-year-old boy believed to have been in extreme danger has been found safe, according to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office.

Roy Ivan Montesinos III was last seen Thursday morning on Wounded Knee Trail in Clarkesville, GA.

Police told CBS Atlanta the boy was located with Roy Ivan Montesinos II, 25, in Gwinnett County.

Montesinos II was taken into custody and the boy was returned to his mother unharmed.

A Levi's Call is activated only by local law enforcement agencies who believe a child to have been abducted and in imminent danger through a request to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
