ATLANTA (CBS46) -

The Gainesville Police Department has individuals in custody who are "person of interest" in the death of Charles Weaver.

Weaver was killed Friday morning at Carriage Mitsubishi where he worked. A truck belonging to the dealership was also stolen. The truck was recovered in downtown Atlanta on Saturday and evidence found in the vehicle led to today's arrest, according to Kevin Holbrook a spokesman for the Gainesville police.

On Saturday, Carriage Auto Group posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. A company spokesperson told CBS Atlanta News "We [Carriage Auto Group] lost a family member. And we are all grieving right now. The reward is an effort to help police generate leads in the case. We are working with authorities anyway we can."

Investigators told CBS Atlanta News, "We have an individual or individuals in custody who are persons of interest."

The arrest by both Gainesville and Atlanta officers took place at the Constitution Apartment located at 960 Constitution Road in southeast Atlanta.

According to Barry Weaver, president of the property's management company Columbia Residential Properties, the suspect is not a tenant of the Constitution Apartments or Columbia Residential.  He says, "if a resident of our community is determined to have knowingly aided or abetted a person involved with criminal activity, it is our policy to terminate the lease of that resident and to demand that tenant leave our community immediately."

CBS Atlanta is following this developing story and will have more information as it becomes available.
