GAINESVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

The Gainesville Police Department has made an arrest in the murder investigation of Charles Weaver, an employee of Carriage Auto Group, who was fatally shot Dec. 28 at Carriage Mitsubishi.

They arrested 21-year-old Mark Antonio Taylor II, of Gainesville, and charged him with the shooting death of Charles Weaver and related charges. Taylor is being held at the Hall County Jail.

During the crime, a 2011 Nissan Frontier with distinctive graphics belonging to Carriage Auto Group was stolen from the scene.  The vehicle was spotted Saturday at the Constitution Apartments in Atlanta by an individual who then contacted police.

The suspect was found inside an apartment at that complex and arrested Sunday morning.

Residents of the property told CBS Atlanta News they noticed police watching the building over night.

"I thought they, [police] were going to shoot. They got out of the big ol' truck and came from the top like Army men," Moore said.

Authorities believe the crime to be random.
