The DeKalb County district attorney is starting off the new year by making some new staff appointments.
District Attorney Robert James has announced Kellie Stevens Hill as his new chief trial district attorney. She'll oversee the county's public integrity unit and will manage trial attorneys. She previously served as chief assistant district attorney in the Fulton County district attorney's office.
James also announced that Christopher Timmons will serve as an assistant district attorney in the office's public integrity unit. He was recently an assistant district attorney for the Cobb County district attorney's office.
Anna Green Cross, a former chief assistant district attorney in Cobb County, joins James' office as the deputy chief of capital and complex litigations.
Several other employees in the office were promoted within the district attorney's office.
