Funerals held Saturday for Mallett Family

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Funeral services were scheduled Saturday morning for three members of a Stone Mountain family killed in a car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike.

On Dec. 27, a tractor-trailer rear-ended a Toyota Camry driven by Ainsworth Mallett, 51. Mallett, his wife, Jacqueline, 49, and their son Drew, 12, were all pronounced dead at the scene. The couple's daughter, 18, survived with minor injuries.

The family was traveling to visit relatives in Connecticut.

The cause of the accident remained under investigation.

The family owned a Caribbean restaurant in Lithonia.

Funeral services will take place at Tabernacle Assembly of God in Decatur at 11 a.m.
A public viewing for the family was held Friday night.
