ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A Flood Watch continues for North Georgia Tuesday.

A slow moving cold front continues to be the focus for moderate to heavy showers through Wednesday.

Rainfall totals across metro Atlanta will vary from 2-4 inches. Isolated spots in extreme North Georgia could approach 5 inches. This could cause minor flooding along creeks and rivers in the area.

River flood warnings were in effect for Floyd, Gordon, Dade and Walker counties due to all the rain that has fallen over extreme Northwest Georgia.

Rain will be in the forecast through Thursday.
