Gwinnett County officers are searching for two men wanted in a shooting and robbery at the WalMart along Rockbridge Road in unincorporated Stone Mountain.

The incident took place Jan. 12, around 2:50 a.m.

The first victim pulled into a parking space near the main entrance to the store.

Police said as he walked toward the building he was approached by two suspects.  One of the men had a gun and demanded the victim's keys and wallet.

The first suspect went to the victim's 2010 Honda Fit and waited  inside, according to police.

Just prior to the robbery, an employee of Walmart was waiting in his car for his shift to start.

The employee saw the victim in a conversation with one of the suspects.

As the employee was walking into work, one of the suspects called out to him. The employee couldn't understand what was said and continued toward the entrance, according to reports.

As he continues toward the entrance of Walmart, the second suspect fired one shot striking the employee in the thigh, according to officers.

The shooter ran to the victim's Honda Fit and the men fled the scene.

The employee was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Detectives reviewed security footage and discovered the suspects drove a stolen car to the scene and left it there after taking the Honda Fit.

Atlanta Police located the stolen Honda Fit on Jan. 13.

They also found a handgun matching the description of the weapon used in the shooting inside the Honda Fit.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-557-8477 or Gwinnett Police detectives at 770-513-5300.
