HENRY COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A toothpick led to the arrest of a McDonough man. Police said they arrested Jesse Cornelius McGahee Thursday for an armed robbery that happened nearly three years ago.

Back in August of 2010, police investigated a robbery at a home on Milam Drive in Ellenwood where the victim had been approached by two men, one armed with a handgun.

A struggle ensued and one of the suspects left a ball cap and a plastic toothpick on the scene. The items were collected and sent to the GBI to be processed. The results indicated that McGahee was most likely the owner of the toothpick that was left behind.

Warrants were obtained by Henry County Police. On Jan. 10, 2013 McGahee was arrested by probation officers at the McDonough office and was transported to the Henry County Jail by sheriff's deputies.
