Bartow County, where most of the damage from Wednesday's tornado is, will have classes Thursday, Jan. 31. In a statement on the district's web site, superintendent John F. Harper said he felt the district should provide an opportunity for students to attend school tomorrow.
The elementary and middle schools have power, and the high school should have power again in the next few hours.
If parents feel like their children should stay home, the absence will be considered excused.
