A Cobb County man now faces charges of false imprisonment, accused of hog tying two boys.

Cobb County police said the alleged abuse happened on Meadows Lake Trail in Powder Springs.

Sean Sterling, 35, is out on a $75,000 bond, accused of false imprisonment inside the home.

Investigators aren't willing to say Sterling is related to the young boys, ages 8 and 14, because they're minors.

Neighbors describe the people who live in the home as private.

"They really just kept to themselves," said Eugenao Ramos.

According to the police report, Sterling repeatedly hog tied the boys over a period of several months starting last December.

The report said one of the victims was tied to a chair with duct tape and the other placed face down on the floor with his hands and feet behind his back, left to urinate in that same space.

Neighbors told CBS Atlanta News they saw two young boys at the home from time to time.

Fishing poles could be seen left behind on the front porch.

But those who live nearby have no idea if the boys lived there or if they might be the victims of false imprisonment.

"I mean, I just feel sad, you know?" said Ramos.

Ramos said many of his neighbors feel for the boys much like he does. They're bothered that if the charges are true, they may have missed the clues.

"They said they can't believe what's going on in our neighborhood. We keep watching [out for each other]. You don't know what's going on inside the house," said Ramos.

Police are keeping pretty tight-lipped about the case, telling CBS Atlanta News it's an ongoing investigation.
