ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

AAA and Bud Light will help protect motorists for the St. Patrick's Day weekend with the Tow To Go Program.

AAA, the largest auto group in North America, has provided the program for more than 15 years to help keep motorists safe on the roadways. The program's mission is to discourage intoxicated drivers from getting behind the wheel and risking lives and safety of other motorists.

According to AAA, "nearly two in five (41 percent) consumers thin people are more likely to use a designated driver on St. Patrick's Day Weekend, with a majority (56 percent) reporting that they think people tend to drink more alcohol when compared to other holidays.

"The Tow To Go Program is an effective way to promote the use of designated drivers and help prevent drunk driving," says Kathy Casso, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for Anheuser-Busch.

The Tow To Go Program is being offered from Friday through Sunday.

The AAA tow truck take the vehicle and the driver home, confidentially, within a 10-mile radius to a safe location. Service is provided in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, free and available to both AAA members and non-members.

Drivers should call (855) 2-TOW-2GO.
