A Forsyth County deputy was injured early Saturday around 7:30 a.m. in a single-car crash on Georgia Highway 369.
It happened near Julius Bridge Road in Cherokee County. Deputy Sheriff Michael Cartledge was driving east on 369 in his patrol car when it hydroplaned. The 2008 Dodge Charger left the roadway and struck several trees, according to police.
Cartledge was taken to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell. He had injuries that were not life-threatening.
